The CHIRON Group is the future, in every sense: As a strong group we are in a leading position worldwide – with machining centers made in Germany for highly productive vertical milling and turning. We supply complete solutions for metal machining and provide impressive services and innovative product ranges for automation and digitalization. We have become strong thanks to our experienced experts, and we will remain strong with the experts of tomorrow – with you!
Future challenges will require more than excellent professional qualifications; Our employees need to think in terms of complex relationships, to collaborate constructively in cross-department projects, and to take on responsibility. Two possible routes prepare you equally for professional life and every opportunity to take an active role in shaping our successful future: A collaborative study between the CHIRON Group and the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University or a combination of in-company training and study.
The CHIRON Group offers studies such as a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts, or a combination of internal technical apprenticeships and study. Whatever you choose, your study will follow a dual system: practical training at the CHIRON Group and theory at one of the campuses of the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University or – for a combined study or »Study Plus« program at the university and vocational school.
First, you will complete basic training in metalworking. Then you will learn the processes in various specialist departments and get to know our work processes and innovative products. For example, you will work in design, jig construction, spindle assembly, the assembly of standard machines and large production systems. This will show you how we achieve consistently high quality throughout the entire production process. Not only in Tuttlingen, but also at CHIRON America, where you will be completing a placement abroad. At the Cooperative State University you will attend lectures in design theory, technical mathematics, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
